About Danika
Danika is a bilingual Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who provides psychotherapy services in both English and French. She recently completed her Master's degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling and plans to continue her education at the doctoral level in pursuit of becoming a Clinical Psychologist.
With a strong passion for understanding the complexities of the human mind, Danika has a particular interest in neuropsychology, attachment, complex trauma, chronic pain, and neurodivergence, including autism. She is committed to providing individualized care that recognizes each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Danika's therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-informed, drawing from a variety of modalities including Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Approaches, Art Therapy, and Integrated Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM), while incorporating neuropsychological principles into her work when appropriate.
She works with children, adolescents, and adults of all genders, tailoring treatment to meet the specific needs of each individual.
Known for her warmth, empathy, and genuine curiosity, Danika strives to create a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. She believes that meaningful change begins with understanding, and she works alongside clients to help them build insight, resilience, and lasting emotional well-being at a pace that feels right for them.
